I have to say that I’m not a huge fan of Aikido’s randory. It really doesn’t mimic the way a real fight goes. The partners are being too cooperative for my liking.
That being said, you can’t deny the skill and timing that the masters possessed.
When I first saw Gozo Shioda perform randory with four or more opponents I thought I was looking at a magical being.
I love how tiny he is next to these guys he’s tossing around like rag dolls. I know it doesn’t really equate to actual combat but it’s a lot of fun to watch.
